Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s Dave Publow reported from the market’s Nov. 7, 2018 community workshop, led by the nonprofit Project for Public Spaces at the Franklin Plaza ballroom, on where the market might find a longer-term home, possibly at One Monument Square.

Market president Zack Metzger praised the Atrium and its parking. A farmer said five rainy markets that summer were big hits to his income: “A business plan that depends on the weather is a tough way to go.” City Councilmember Anasha Cummings said about $3 million in state funding was still available for Monument Square infrastructure. A Project for Public Spaces presenter said, “It’s not really about spending money, it’s how do you grow and preserve the culture.”
