The Times Union reported that TWFM wanted a permanent, year-round home in whatever the city planned next for 1 Monument Square, the vacant former City Hall site. It would be the market’s second try: Kirchhoff Companies’ 2014 plan had included 17,500 square feet for the market before the developer pulled out, and the following Bow Tie Cinemas multiplex plan had no room for it and also collapsed. The story listed the city’s upcoming public design sessions for the site.

“We want to have a permanent location here in 1 Monument Square. We believe this is the space to be.”

— Liz Comitale, market manager, in the Times Union
