Farmers’ Market to Continue Through Oct. 28 (Times Union)

A short notice reported that the new Troy Waterfront Farmers’ Market was open Saturdays through Oct. 28 at the Troy Dock & Marina, near the Hedley Park Place parking lot and just north of the Green Island Bridge, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Times Union said the market was sponsored by the Regional Farm & Food Project, with more information available from Matt Lindstrom, and that the weekly gatherings featured food festivals, gardening clinics, farm and craft demonstrations, children’s activities such as petting zoos and storytelling, a “chef-at-the-market” and music.
