The paper reported that George Schroeter, chef-owner of the River Street Cafe in Troy, would demonstrate recipes using local produce at the Troy Waterfront Farmers’ Market on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The story said Schroeter’s demonstration was the first in a series featuring local chefs cooking with locally grown foods, according to market president Matt Lindstrom, and quoted Schroeter on the ease and flavor of cooking with in-season produce.

“If you buy stuff in season there’s very little you have to do.”
