A roundup of upcoming Saturdays at the Troy Waterfront Farmers’ Market, held each Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Troy Dock and Marina, 433 River St., next to Hedley Park Place and the Troy Pub and Brewery. The paper listed a “Celebrate Sweet Corn” day with Kate Blain’s Music@the Market debut at 10:30, a Regional Farm & Food Project community table, a second annual corn roast with free samples, and antique farm equipment from Bornt Family Farms; and an Aug. 25 “Neighborhood Day” with goat milking, music by Michael Eck returning to Music@the Market, a Cornell Cooperative Extension table, and goat-milking demonstrations and a petting area from Promised Land Farm. It described the market as a not-for-profit, producer-only market sponsored by the Regional Farm & Food Project.
