Events included the Tisch Family Trio and the Literacy Volunteers (July 14); Amy Ryan, plus the market’s fiscal sponsor, the Regional Farm and Food Project, with news of its annual “Through Women’s Hands” event featuring women chefs and women farmers (July 21); Don Gaylord, the Hudson Mohawk Industrial Gateway, the Burden Iron Works Museum and chef John La Pasto of the Cambridge Hotel (July 28); Maria Zemantauski, Habitat for Humanity and “Pottery Day” (Aug. 4); New York State Farmers’ Market Week with Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh and the North Central Neighborhood Association (Aug. 11); Kate Blain and the second annual corn roast (Aug. 18); and Neighborhood Day with Michael Eck, Cornell Cooperative Extension and Promised Land Farm’s goats (Aug. 25).
