The market announced a Twilight Farmers’ Market at Troy Night Out, starting the last Friday of May and running through October in Riverfront Park, in addition to its usual Saturday morning market. Manager Monica Kurzejeski said the idea came from a board member and would reach people who can’t make it on Saturday mornings; Elizabeth Young of the Troy Business Improvement District called it “a win-win.” The Twilight markets would feature food, live music and other entertainment.

“This opens up a whole new arena of possibilities for vendors.”

— Monica Kurzejeski, market manager, in The Record
