In the first installment of the Times Union’s farmers market Q&A series, Marge Randles described starting Argyle Cheese Farmer with her husband, Dave, and partner Ideal Dairy Farms, making yogurt and cheese from whole, unseparated milk, and crowd favorites like maple Greek yogurt and basil garlic cheese curds. Among the summer markets she listed: Glens Falls, Saratoga and Troy Waterfront.
“Our maple Greek yogurt! We use our neighbor’s maple syrup … and the only thing in it is milk and culture.”
