The story reported that planning was continuing on the roughly $25 million 1 Monument Square redevelopment of the former City Hall site on the Hudson River, with the developers’ design not yet ready for review at an upcoming Planning Commission hearing. The Times Union noted that the City Council had unanimously approved a land development agreement at its Oct. 2 meeting, that the city would receive $650,000 from the developers if the project were built, and that the proposal included more than 80 apartments, 88 parking spaces, restaurant and retail space, and a location for the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market. The market is described as a planned tenant of the development, not as the subject of the story.
