The Times Union reported that TWFM was in talks with developer David Bryce about a permanent year-round marketplace in the Troy Atrium, with 20 to 25 flexible booths and an entrance on Broadway, as the market headed into its 20th season. The indoor space would complement, not replace, the outdoor summer market. The story recalled that the 2014 Kirchhoff plan for 1 Monument Square, which included space for the market, fell through.
“This would be a great addition to our Saturday market in the winter and would complement, but not replace, our successful outdoor market during the summer and fall.”
— Zack Metzger, president of the market, in the Times Union
