The Times Union reported that TWFM was seeking Downtown Revitalization Initiative money to make the city-owned Troy Atrium courtyard its permanent winter home, with an incubator kitchen and office and retail space. The plan was among 16 projects seeking $17.74 million from a $10 million pot, so not all would be funded; the market’s original request was $1.5 million, and Steve Ridler estimated the work would cost $4 million to $5 million.

“There’s no other place in Troy that can do this.”

— Steve Ridler, market manager, in the Times Union
