Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s Mark Dunlea talked with market assistant Brenna Healey before the last of four Sunday holiday markets in the Troy Atrium, the first year the market ran them with the Downtown Troy BID after another organizer dropped the Atrium’s one-day craft fair.
Healey said the Sunday markets focused on crafts and gifts rather than produce (the one farmer signed up had to drop out), and mentioned the market’s 20th anniversary and that it accepts SNAP/EBT. “The whole idea is to really just bring people to downtown Troy,” she said.
