PUBLIC PARKING LOTS & GARAGES

There is plenty of free weekend parking on Troy city streets, parking lots and garages.

The 5th Ave. Parking Garage is located less than one block from our winter market and less than two blocks from our outdoor market. The State Street Parking Garage is next to our outdoor market.

There are city owned parking lots immediately north of the Green Island Bridge, at 401 River St. (From there, walk south along the new seawall promenade through Riverfront Park.)

During the outdoor market season, customers may park in RPI’s Blitman Residence Hall at 1800 6th Ave.*

500 Federal is a privately owned lot. The owner has permitted parking only during farmers market hours when it is not in use for a function, Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

PRO TIP: PARK AT FIFTH AVE GARAGE
100+ Open Parking Spots, Peak Market Hours, 2 Blocks Away

TWFM Manager Steve Ridler went on a Parking Reconnaissance Mission (PRM) to observe the parking situation surrounding the market perimeter at peak hours (11 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2024).

Steve found more than 100+ available parking spaces on the upper decks of the Fifth Ave. Parking Garage, located just beyond the intersection of Broadway and Fifth Ave. That’s just TWO BLOCKS AWAY from the outdoor market entrance at Broadway and Third Street (and less than one block from the indoor Winter Market entrance to Troy Atrium at Broadway and Fourth. In this video we show you the garage, how to drive to the garage from the Green Island Bridge, and how to walk from the garage to the market two blocks away.

NEW! OVERFLOW PARKING ON SIXTH AVE

Outdoor market customers may also park at RPI’s Blitman Residence Hall at 1800 6th Ave.
