Country Folks Grower, a Lee Publications farm newspaper, ran the market’s fall travel news release with photos provided by the market. It described Saturdays from May through October, when the market fills six blocks of downtown Troy, with up to 15,000 visitors on the busiest days, 19th-century buildings familiar from film and TV, and boaters who dock at the Troy Downtown Marina. It also noted that three weeks were left in the 2024 outdoor season before the move indoors for November through April, the 25th anniversary coming in May 2025, and the market’s 2019 American Farmland Trust People’s Choice award as the No. 1 farmers market in the nation.

“…an open-air street festival that could easily pass for a scene in Europe.”
