This story aired on WNYT NewsChannel 13’s 6 p.m. newscast on November 29, 2025.

WNYT covered Small Business Saturday at the winter market inside the Troy Atrium, where shoppers filled the aisles for produce, baked goods, plants and handmade gifts. Corey Jenkins of Jadey’s Cookies and Sweets told the station why handmade, small-batch goods are worth seeking out.

Gov. Kathy Hochul also stopped by to shop for her family and support local vendors, recalling that her mother ran “a small flower shop.”
