In a “Best Of” roundup, the Times Union named the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market on River Street in Troy, open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through October, and ran a long, playful list of what shoppers could find there — pasture-fed pork, English-style cheeses, purple carrots, emu steaks, heirloom tomatoes, whole-grain breads, New York maple syrup, live music, kids’ activities and more — ending with the line, “Need we say more?”
