Before the market’s May 7, 2022 return to the streets, Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s Andrea Cunliffe talked with Market Manager Steve Ridler about leaving Riverfront Park, where the market had gone to control crowds during COVID, and moving back around Monument Square.
“We’re back on the streets, centered around Monument Square, just like we were before the pandemic,” Ridler said. He talked about new vendors, music on two stages, the Makers Market in Franklin Alley, working around restaurants’ street dining, about 100 vendors, and masks being optional.
