Troy Downtown Marina

Troy Downtown Marina is located on the Upper Hudson River just south of the Federal Dam and lock in Troy, NY. The marina is located in Downtown Troy. Just recently opened, the Marina hopes to provide more education and activities related to moving on the Hudson River. Keep a look out for:

The BID is dedicated to improving the quality of life within the district and further enhance and make our community a vibrant, attractive destination for visitors, businesses, residents, property owners, the daily workforce and students.

Rensselaer County Historical Society

The Rensselaer County Historical Society and Museum is open on Saturdays from 12-5, right after the market
and offers guided Troy history walking tours on Saturdays during the summer
and fall months.

Children's Museum of Science and Technology

An interactive museum, where kids and parents can Explore, Discover, and Imagine the world of science together -- a great side trip, before or after market!


Troy's Little Italy Neighborhood

Great food! Friendly people! Bocce ball courts! Grab a slice or a cuppa and soak up some old Troy neighborhood charm! Be sure to check out the historic location of Troy's open-air public market, for which there are big plans ahead.

Tiffany Window Tour

In addition to its amazing architecture, Troy boasts a large collection of windows created by the American master of stained glass, Louis Comfort Tiffany. You can find them with this self-guided walking tour!

Troy Public Library

Be sure to see Tiffany's "House of Aldus" window, which illustrates a scene from Dante's "Divine Comedy." And, while you're there, check out the nifty glass floors in the library's stacks!

Washington Park

This 1840 park surrounded by some of Troy's most elegant homes is one of only two privately owned urban parks in the United States. The other is Gramercy Park in Manhattan.
